Brendan W. O'Brien

Brendan is a dynamic, results-oriented attorney with experience advising on and litigating complex legal issues across the U.S. He regularly assists clients with loss investigations, commercial contracts, claims, and defenses focusing on product liability, professional negligence, personal injury, and insurance defense. From investigation through litigation, Brendan is a thought partner with his clients, zealously representing their interests from investigation through litigation.

Before joining MLL in 2020, Brendan was a general practitioner and criminal prosecutor, giving him a diverse background with expertise advising across platforms. He has led dozens of trials, hundreds of evidentiary hearings, and successfully negotiated claims at settlement conferences and ADR. Whether it be in a boardroom, a conference room, or a courtroom, Brendan is prepared to offer practical, business-friendly advice to manage any situation.

Brendan lives in Falmouth, Maine with his family, and enjoys traveling, gardening, and playing guitar.
