Nick focuses his practice on defending property owners, contractors, product manufacturers, and suppliers in fire and explosion litigation, premise liability, construction defect, and product liability litigation. Nick is a certified Fire and Explosion Investigator by the National Association of Fire Investigators and the International Association of Arson Investigators, certifications held by only a handful of attorneys in the United States.

Nick has published articles and lectured on fire and explosion, product liability, and staged losses, including:

Nick received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wayne State University, before receiving his J.D. from the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Law. He worked in the building trades for almost a decade before attending law school. Nick also co-authored several articles published in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine regarding the treatment of neurological conditions and injuries in pre-hospital settings. In his free time, Nick restores antique woodworking tools and fire protection equipment.
